On February 21, 2026, the Texas Heritage Songwriters Association will induct Don Cook, Keith Gattis, Miranda Lambert, and George Strait into the Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame. A public Hall of Fame Awards Show take place at ACL Live.

We host a silent and live auction each year during our DKR Pickin’ Party, hosted at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum. We also host virtual silent auctions throughout the year online.

Awards
Each year our organization honors and celebrates Texas songwriters who have played an important role in defining and interpreting Texas’ distinctive culture by inducting them into our Hall of Fame. We also honor those who have provided recognition and support to songwriters by presenting one individual with our Darrell K Royal Texas Music Legend Award.
